A George III diamond and blue glass mourning ring, the urn set with a pear-shaped old-cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.35 carats and smaller rose-cut diamonds, applied on an oval blue glass plaque over an engine-turned pattern and surrounded by a frame of twenty-six old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a further total of 2 ¾ carats, all mounted in silver and gold, circa 1780, the head measuring approximately 3 x 1.9 cm, finger size L, gross weight 11.3 grams.
