A Belle-Époque ruby and diamond cluster ring, the central old brilliant-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.25 carat, set to an openwork quatrefoil design cluster surround of calibre-cut rubies, within a border of old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a further 0.25 carat, all millegrain-set in platinum, with fluted platinum shank and diamond-set shoulders, French hallmarks, circa 1910, finger size O ½, gross weight 3.9 grams.
