A late Victorian diamond-set tiara, the base consisted of diamonds set in square and kite-shaped collets, from the square collets rises nine principal sections of openwork diamond foliate design graduating from the centre, alternating with ten upright foliate diamond stems, each terminating to a single old-cut diamond, the diamonds estimated to weigh approxmately 19 carats, all set in silver to a yellow gold mount, attached to a yellow gold tiara frame and accompanied by a diamond-set back section to convert as a necklace, circa 1890, gross weight 54grams.
