An Edwardian diamond-set tiara/necklace, in the form of a fringe consisting of nineteen knife-edge bars embellished with single diamond collets and diamond-set foliate motifs, the base set with nine diamond-set flower clusters each connected with three single diamond-set collets in-between, the old European and rose-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 3½ carats in total, all millegrain-set in silver to yellow gold mount, attached to a nickel-silver frame, and accompanied by detachable diamond-set back section of floral and foliate design, the diamonds estimated to weigh approximately a further total of a ½ carat, circa 1900, measuring 13.2 x 3.3cm, gross weight 41 grams.
