A delicate pair of gold and topaz earrings. This lovely pair of earrings features detailed three colour gold cannetille, a technique that was very popular in the 1820s and 1830s. Cannetille uses fine gold wires to create romantic and naturalistic motifs and was inspired by the embroidery found in traditional peasant garments in the early nineteenth century. This wonderful pair of earrings features cannetille framing golden topaz stones, which have a rich and appealing honey hue to them. Elegant and feminine, these earrings would pair wonderfully with an evening gown.
