Description

A vintage pair of onyx and diamond drop earrings, each earring with a single diamond-set top suspending a kite-shaped diamond-set drop and terminating to a round onyx disk centrally-set with a small round brilliant-cut diamond, the diamonds estimated to weigh ½ carat in total, all mounted in platinum and whit gold, with wire hook fittings, circa 1950, measuring 3.1 x 0.8cm, gross weight 2.9 grams.

A striking vintage pair of onyx and diamond drop earrings. Each earring features a single diamond-set at the top, delicately suspending a kite-shaped diamond drop, which gracefully terminates with a black round onyx disk centrally set with a small round brilliant-cut diamond. Crafted in platinum and white to enhance the dramatic contrast between the shimmer of the diamonds, and blackness of the onyx. Dating back to circa 1950, these earrings exude a timeless allure.
