More informationA pair of ruby and diamond odeonesque earrings by Boucheron, each earring with six rectangular faceted rubies estimated to weigh 1 carat in total for the pair, accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report stating to be of Burmese origin with no indication of heat treatment, set between two rows of four single-cut diamonds, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1.1 carats in total, mounted in platinum and yellow gold, circa 1935-1940, signed Boucheron Paris, bearing French assay marks for 18ct gold and platinum and makers marks for René Bry, measuring approximately 2 x 1.9cm, gross weight 13.9 grams.
A striking pair of ruby and diamond earrings made by Boucheron. Boucheron was established in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron and remains one of the most well-regarded jewellery houses today. These bold earrings are accented by small and bright Burmese rubies as well as twinkling diamonds which are set within a bold and sculptural yellow gold mount. An arresting example of the Retro Style, these earrings would look delightful worn with an elegant black dress.
