A mid-18th century Italian agate cameo of Emperor Titus, the oval shaped cameo measuring 2.2 x 1.6cm and depicting the Roman Emperor Titus, set in a late Georgian yellow gold ring mount with closed-back, circa 1780, the head measuring approximately 2.5 x 1.8cm, finger size Q, gross weight 14.7 grams.

A classic mid-18th century Italian cameo of Emperor Titus. The oval shaped agate cameo skilfully depicts the Roman Emperor Titus, famous for completing the Colosseum in Rome.
