A Star Sapphire And Diamond Ring
A star sapphire and diamond ring, the pale blue star sapphire weighing 17.70 carats four claw set between two stepped baguette-cut diamonds to each shoulder, the diamonds weighing a total of 0.77 carats, all set in platinum to an open scroll gallery and D-section shank, hallmarked London 2009, bearing the Bentley & Skinner sponsormark, head measuring 1.5×2.3cm, finger size N, gross weight 10.7 grams.
An enchanting piece. This ring features an impressive star sapphire in a pale, sky blue colour. Star sapphires have a feature called asterism, where light reflected onto the stone gives the appearance of a single six-pointed star in the centre of the sapphire. This star effect gives the sapphire a magical quality. This sapphire is flanked by four baguette-cut diamonds which complement the central stone. This piece makes a beautiful statement.
The finger size of most of our rings can be adjusted and our workshop will be happy to do this free of charge. If you do not know your finger size please request us to post you a finger measure.
