A vintage Burmese sapphire and diamond ring, the cushion-shaped cabochon-cut sapphire estimated to weigh 2.4 carats and accompanied by GCS grading report stating to be of Burmese origin, set between two large baguette-cut diamonds estimated to weigh ½ carat each, assessed as G-H colour and VVS2-VS1, surrounded by twenty-four small old European-cut diamonds, each shoulder set with two small baguette-set diamonds, the smaller diamonds estimated to weigh an additional total of 0.7 carats, all mounted in platinum to a square-section shank, circa 1950, measuring 1.9 x 1.9cm, finger size J, gross weight 3.9 grams.
