More informationAn Edwardian circular diamond brooch-pendant, the round openwork circular frame, with seven vertical diamond-set lines and six knife edge bars in-between, centrally-set with a diamond-set square frame with four old European-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 0.6 carats in total, each millegrain-set to an articulated drop, the brooch is encrusted with a hundred and eighty four small rose-cut diamonds, all set in platinum mount with hidden pendant and detachable brooch fittings, circa 1910, measuring approximately 3.4cm in diameter, gross weight 8.5grams.
A beautiful Edwardian diamond brooch-pendant. Composed of an intricate central square frame featuring four old-cut European diamonds, the delicate openwork design shimmers beautifully as it catches the light. The glimmering diamonds set within the diamond-set lines almost look like fine water droplets running down a window pane, and add to the airiness and intricacy of the piece. This fine brooch can also be worn as a pendant.
