Description

A Victorian natural pearl and diamond ivy spray brooch, consisting of five leaves encrusted with small old-mine cut diamonds and flanked with five natural peal-set clovers, each clover set with a different colour pearls, accompanied by GCS report stating that the pearls are natural of saltwater origin, to a diamond-set bow, the diamonds estimated to weigh 4.5 carats in total, all mounted in silver to yellow gold back, with gold brooch fitting, circa 1880, measuring 6.5 x 2.5cm, gross weight 13.5 grams.

A fine Victorian natural pearl and diamond ivy spray brooch chain hails. The brooch features a diamond bow that supposedly holds five intricately crafted leaves adorned with shimmering diamonds, complemented by clovers crafted from a variety of naturally coloured pearls, characterised by incredible lustre. This brooch stands as a stunning example of classic Victorian jewellery craftsmanship.
