A pair of mid-20th century ruby and diamond stylised cornucopia earrings, each earring set with six oval shaped faceted rubies, all rubies estimated to weigh 2 ¼ carats in total and accompanied by Gem & Pearl Laboratory report stating to be of Burmese origin with no indications of heating, the horn formed with small baguette and round brilliant-cut diamonds, the diamonds estimated to weigh ¾ carat in total, all mounted in platinum with white gold continental fittings, bearing French platinum and 18ct gold import marks, circa 1950, measuring 1.8 x 1.2cm, gross weight 5.5 grams.

A splendid pair of mid-20th century ruby and diamond cornucopia earrings. Each earring features six unheated Burmese rubies, beneath them, the horn is embellished with a constellation of small shimmering baguette and round brilliant-cut diamonds. Delicately mounted in platinum, the cornucopia symbolises prosperity and embodies the elegance of the 1950s.
