A Victorian garnet and diamond cross necklace, the cross pendant consisted of six circular cabochon garnets applyed with old- and rose-cut diamond-set stars to the centres, suspended from a larger circular top of similar design, all attached to a necklace consisted of twenty-seven oval and round garnet cabochons, alternating with single-diamond-set collets to a concealed clasp, all cabochons inlaid with rose-cut diamond-set stars to the centre, set in silver and yellow gold, the cross measuring approximately 4.9 x 3.5cm, the necklace measuring approximately 43 x 0.7cm, gross weight 41.3 grams, circa 1860,
