An Art Deco Diamond And Sapphire Ring
An Art Deco diamond and sapphire ring, the old brilliant-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.8 carats and the cushion-cut sapphire estimated to weigh 0.9 carats, claw-set vertically to a platinum mount between baguette diamond-set shoulders, circa 1920, the head measuring 1.4×1.3cm, finger size M1/2, gross weight 3.4 grams. This ring is in very good condition. Unmarked, tested as platinum.
A dazzling Art Deco ring. This ring, made in around 1920, exemplifies Art Deco sophistication and simplicity. This ring features a vivid and gorgeous sapphire and a dazzlingly bright diamond stacked on each other with further baguette-cut diamonds flanking the central stones. This style of ring is called “moi et toi” or “me and you”, symbolising two souls becoming one. It would make a perfect and unique engagement ring.
