A Victorian Turquoise And Diamond Double Heart Ring

A Victorian turquoise and diamond double heart ring, the two cabochon-cut turquoise each surrounded by an old-cut diamond-set frame, with diamond-set bow top, the diamonds estimated to weigh 0.75 carats in total, all set in silver, to yellow gold gallery and shank, bearing French import gold mark, circa 1880, the head measuring approximately 1.7 x 1.7cm, finger size K ½, gross weight 5.1 grams.

A gorgeous Victorian ring. The twin heart style ring was very popular as a symbol of love and commitment during the Victorian era, and this ring is a perfect and wonderfully colourful example of this type of ring. This piece features two cabochon-cut turquoise stones, each enclosed within a heart-shaped border of diamonds. The two hearts are tied together with a lovely and delicate diamond set bow. The yellow gold shank provides a perfect complement to the bright turquoise and the lively diamonds. A lovely, romantic ring.

The finger size of most of our rings can be adjusted and our workshop will be happy to do this free of charge. If you do not know your finger size please request us to post you a finger measure.
