A Georgian cameo ring, the oval agate measuring approximately 2 x 1.5cm finely carved with the profile of Psyche with a butterfly wing in her hair, Roman-style set in yellow gold mount with tapering shoulders, circa 1820, measuring 2.2 x 2.5cm, finger size P, gross weight 9.1 grams.

A classical Georgian cameo. At the heart of this piece lies an oval agate featuring a meticulously carved profile of Psyche, adorned with a delicate butterfly wing in her hair. The agate is expertly set in a Roman-style design, nestled within a yellow gold mount with gracefully tapering shoulders.
