An alluring early twentieth century piece. This gorgeous necklace features a delicate and detailed openwork design set throughout with glittering diamonds. Edwardian jewellery is characterised by the delicate use of platinum, diamonds and pearls, and garland and bow motifs. This necklace prominently features all these elements, which elegantly combine to create a feminine and romantic piece. The central feature of this necklace is a wonderful half-pearl surrounded by diamonds, and a further pear-shaped pearl drop.
