An early Victorian emerald and half pearl ring, the two vertically oriented half pearls set with three small faceted emeralds on each side, followed by a single half pearl and terminating to a further small emerald on each side, the pearls measuring approximately 3 mm in diameter, all closed-back set in yellow gold, to a tapering ridged shank, circa 1840, measuring 1.8 x 0.8 cm, finger size I ½, gross weight 2.7 grams.
