An Edwardian diamond-set plaque ring, the octagonal-shaped plaque centrally-set with an old European-cut diamond estimated to weigh ½ carat and assessed to be of H-I colour and SI2-I1 clarity, surrounded by openwork decorations of foliate design embellished with small old European-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a further combined total of ½ carat, all mounted in silver and rose gold, with rose gold D-shaped tapering shank, circa 1905, measuring 2×3.1cm, finger size L, gross weight 3.9 grams.
