An early Victorian turquoise and diamond-set pendant/brooch, in the form of a padlock with a crescent-shaped cabochon-cut rock crystal and gold cannetille decorations, embellished with cabochon-cut turquoise and old mine-cut diamonds, suspending two fine trace chains, the one terminating to a turquoise-set heart and the other to a key pendant, mounted in gold with turquoise-set pendant loop and brooch fitting on reverse, circa 1835, measuring 5.8 x 2.8cm, gross weight 9.1 grams.
