An enchanting Art Nouveau enamel and diamond dragonfly pendant. This intricately detailed dragonfly features blue and green plique-à-jour enamel, a technique which allows light to pass through creating the effect of stained glass. The translucent enamel is set in buttery yellow gold mount and embellished by twinkling diamonds. Enamel has been used throughout antiquity and has been rediscovered during the Art Nouveau period. Suggestive rather than realistic, this whimsical pendant with its articulated wings would look charming on a simple gold chain.
