Description

A pair of late Victorian gem-set and gold snake cufflinks, each cufflink with faces each depicting a coiled serpent, the one face set with a faceted emerald and the other with a faceted ruby, all mounted in yellow gold and connected with figure-of-eight link, bearing French import marks for 18ct gold, circa 1900, each face measuring 1.4cm in diameter, gross weight 12.7 grams.

A charming pair of late Victorian gem-set and gold snake cufflinks. Each cufflink has two faces, each intricately depicting a coiled serpent. One serpent is adorned with a faceted green emerald upon its head, while its counterpart features a faceted red ruby, both elegantly mounted in 18-carat yellow gold. Connected by figure-of-eight links, these cufflinks, dating back to circa 1900, symbolize eternity and love, making them a meaningful jewel suitable for a multitude of occasions.
