A Victorian sapphire and diamond five-stone carved hoop ring, the three faceted sapphires weighing 1.75 carats in total, set with two old European-cut diamonds in-between with combined weight of 1.06 carats and assessed to be of I-J colour and SI2-I1 clarity, embellished with ten small old-cut diamonds, all claw-set to a finely carved and pierced yellow gold mount, marked 18ct gold, Birmingham, 1881, measuring 2.2×0.7cm, finger size M, gross weight 5 grams.

A charming Victorian five-stone ring. This ring features two romantic old European-cut diamonds set between three gorgeous midnight blue sapphires. The cool diamonds provide a wonderful contrast to the deep blue sapphires, and subtly catch the light when worn on the finger. The artistry and talented workmanship of the jeweller is evident in the detailing of the traditionally Victorian mount. Beautifully designed, the yellow gold mount complements the sapphires and diamonds perfectly. A beautiful ring.
