A gorgeous gold eagle brooch. This brooch features wonderfully detailed carved wings and facial details, with the eagle depicted holding a single pearl in its mouth and its wings outstretched. The eagle is a symbol of power and strength, and was a symbol used by Napoleon atop the flag of France during the Napoleonic Wars.
