A Victorian emerald, pearl and ruby ring, to the centre an emerald set between four half-pearls and flanked with six square-cut rubies, all mounted in yellow gold, to openwork split shank, engraved with foliate decorations, the gold tested as 18ct gold, circa 1880, finger size Q, the head measuring approximately 1×1.8cm, gross weight 1.8 grams.

Made in the late Victorian era, this ring is emblematic of high Victorian style and detail, featuring a central ruby surrounded by lustrous pearls and bright rubies. The setting of the ring is exquisitely wrought, featuring delicate yellow gold openwork detail.
