More informationAn Edwardian amethyst, diamond and pearl fringe necklace, consisting of seven bars graduating from the centre, five bars each set with two old European-cut diamonds and two amethysts, the two smaller bars each set with two amethysts, all bars suspended from a gold chain set with six oval amethysts and the bars connected with gold chain swags embellished with seed pearls, the diamonds estimated to weigh approximately ¾ carat in total, mounted in silver and rose gold, to cylindrical clasp, marked 15ct gold, circa 1905, measuring 3.5 x 39cm, gross weight 12.7 grams.
