A magnificent necklace by Carlo Giuliano. Carlo Giuliano was known for his intricate renaissance-revival jewellery, which featured fine enamel work and gem-set decorations. Examples of his jewellery are in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and others. This stunning piece features bright and colourful green enamel that wonderfully complements the stunning array of coloured stones. The coloured stones include pink, blue, and yellow sapphires in several gorgeous shades ranging from lavender to pale blue. Further gems include rubies and purple spinal. The feminine and bright colours of the stones add to the exquisite effect of this piece. Meticulously crafted and stunning, this necklace is a one-of-a-kind treasure.
