A Victorian sapphire and diamond cluster necklace, consisting of thirty-two clusters graduating from the centre, each set with round faceted sapphire surrounded by old-cut diamonds, the sapphires estimated to weigh 17cts in total, the diamonds estimated to weigh 9 carats in total, the central link suspending a detachable sapphire and diamond pendant, the sapphire of the pendant estimated to weigh 1.3 carats and the diamonds a further total of 4 carats, all set in silver to yellow gold mount, accompanied by detachable brooch fitting, circa 1870, the necklace measuring approximately 35 x 3cm, gross weight 44.4 grams.
