A late Victorian Sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the oval faceted sapphire weighing 3.30 carats and accompanied by GCS report number 5783-945 stating the sapphire to be of Sri-Lankan origin, claw-set surrounded by a cluster of thirteen old-cut diamonds, to wide gold tapering shank with an old-cut diamond-set on each shoulder, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1 carat in total, all mounted in yellow gold, unmarked, tested as 18ct gold, circa 1890, the head measuring approximately 1.5 x 1.3cm, finger size O, gross weight 5.9 grams.
