A turn-of-the-20th century topaz and diamond-set brooch, the octagonal-cut faceted golden topaz weighing 16.43 carats, set with five old-cut diamonds on the one side and three old cut diamonds on the other, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1½ carats in total, all claw-set in silver to rose-gold mount, with rose-gold openwork gallery and double pin fitting, circa 1900, measuring 2.4 x 2cm, gross weight 7.4 grams.
