An exquisite late Victorian fringe tiara. Tiaras were very much in fashion during the last two decades of the 19th century and they were often necklaces that came with special frames to enable them to be worn as tiaras when occasion called for it. This wonderful example features sparkling diamonds set in a row of graduating trefoil motifs terminating with a single twinkling old European-cut diamond. Versatile and elegant, this arresting piece is a perfect accessory for a wedding ceremony allowing the bride to transform a regal jewel into a shimmering necklace to be worn paired with an elegant gown.
