A vintage pair of rubellite and diamond drop earrings, each earring set with an octagonal-cut rubellite, the one weighing 6.90 carats and the other 6.95 carats, each with three small old-cut diamonds set on the top, all suspended by a larger old-cut diamond, the diamonds estimated to weigh 0.80 carats in total for the pair, all mounted in white gold, with later post and alpha-type fittings, marked 750, circa 1950, measuring approximately 2.5 x 1cm, gross weight 7.6 grams.
