A lovely Easter Egg pendant by Fabergé, made by the workmaster August Hollming. Fabergé was established in St Petersburg in 1842, and by the late nineteenth century, was Russia’s largest and best-known jewellery house. This charming pendant features carved moonstone, a gemstone known for its hypnotic phenomenon, surrounded by carved rose and green gold cage-work, with its sumptuous curves and arresting colours beautifully complementing the egg. This delicate egg pendant would make a splendid addition to an avid Fabergé connoisseur’s collection.
