Description

A Victorian citrine and gold brooch, the oval faceted citrine measuring approximately 1.5 x 1.3cm, surrounded by textured flower heads, foliate scrolls and cannetille decorations, mounted in yellow gold with gold pin fitting and later roller catch, circa 1850, measuring 4.4 x 3.3cm, gross weight 8.5 grams.

A dainty and elegant Victorian citrine and gold brooch. At the core of the brooch is a gleaming oval citrine surrounded by delicately crafted flower heads, foliate scrolls and cannetille decorations with texture. This brooch is a fine example of Victorian craftmanship.
