More informationA late 19th century emerald and diamond dragonfly brooch, the body set with an old European-cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.4 carat, the tail set with nine faceted emeralds estimated to weigh approximately 1.2 carats in total the wings and the eyes set with small rose-cut diamonds, all mounted in silver, yellow and rose-gold, with gold brooch fitting, bearing French eagle gold marks for 18ct gold and indistinct makers mark, circa 1890, measuring 4.2 x 5cm, gross weight 11.1 grams.
