An Art Deco Diamond-set Double-clip Brooch
An Art Deco diamond-set double-clip brooch, consisting of two clips each with a semicircle of matte polish, and diamond-set geometric and asymmetric decorations, the old brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 2.7 carats in total, all mounted in platinum, with white gold brooch fittings, bearing French import gold marks, circa 1930, measuring 4.2 x 1.9cm, gross weight 13 grams.
A charming Art Deco double-clip brooch. This glittering brooch was made in the 1930s and features a wonderful asymmetric design of two clips. Both clips feature an array of baguette cut and old mine cut diamonds arranged around a circular central piece with a matte finish. The matte finish provides a striking contrast to the sparkling diamonds and bright platinum, making this a wonderful example of late Art Deco design. This piece can be worn as a single brooch or split apart to be worn as a double clip.
