An Art Deco jade, diamond and onyx brooch attributed to Chaumet, the oval-shaped carved jadeite plaque, accompanied by GCS report stating to be natural with no indications of impregnation, surrounded by diamond-set frame of geometric design with scroll designed finials inlaid with onyx,, the old brilliant-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 2¾ carats in total, millegrain-set in platinum mount with openwork gallery and finely engraved decorations on the back, with white gold brooch fitting, bearing French platinum mark, unsigned, accompanied by fitted Chaumet case, circa 1920, measuring 5.8 x 1.7cm, gross weight 9.1 grams.

In Original Cahumet case marked BEW 1953. Of the items manufactured by Chaumet for the Exposition of 1925, the last piece to be retailed was in the late 1950s.
