A 19th century peridot, opal, ruby and diamond gold pendant, the octagonal-cut peridot estimated to weigh approximately 12 carats, claw-set to a yellow gold raised mount with scroll filigree and beaded decorations and embellished with two cabochon-cut opals, seven faceted rubies and six old-cut diamonds, all suspended from a ruby and diamond-set pendant loop of matching design, the rubies estimated to weigh 1½ carats in total, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1½ carats in total, all mounted in gold, circa 1880, measuring 5.7cm x 2.7cm, accompanied by gold chain measuring 46.5cm, gross weight 19 grams.
