This exquisite pendant necklace was made by Ilgiz Fazulzyanov, a widely recognized master in the art of jewellery and particularly enamelwork. This necklace features a single finely detailed enamelled artichoke pendant. The artichoke leaves have a wonderful gradation in colour from violet to pale green and each leave is edged with yellow gold. The pendant is strung from a woven brown silk cord with a yellow gold clasp. This wonderful artichoke pendant is exemplary of Ilgiz F.’s style and fine craftsmanship. Ilgiz Fazulzyanov has twice been awarded the grand prize at the International Jewellery Design Excellence Awards, and his work is held in the collection of world-renowned museums including the Kremlin Museum in Moscow.
