A Fabergé sapphire, diamond and gold egg pendant, the yellow gold matt finish top decorated with intersecting bands of rose-cut diamonds, the bottom half set with a cabochon-cut sapphire, suspended by a gold oval shaped pendant loop, bearing gold mark for 56 zolotniks, maker’s mark of workmaster Feodor Afanassiev, St Petersburg, circa 1910, measuring 1.6 x 8 mm, gross weight 1.6 grams.
