Description

An early 20th century diamond and emerald plaque brooch, the oval-shaped openwork design plaque centrally-set with three rectangular emeralds , surrounded by old-European-cut diamonds, and two square-cut diamonds, one set on each side, the emeralds estimated to weigh ¾ of a carat, the diamonds estimated to weigh 2¾ carats in total, all se in platinum mount with gold brooch fitting, circa 1910, measuring 3.9 x 2.3cm, gross weight 6 grams.
